Lists can be shared with others. For instance, you could share a grocery list with your spouse so that you both have an up-to-date version of your latest grocery needs at the supermarket.

People you collaborate with on a shared list must be signed in to their device with an Apple ID and have Reminders turned on in their iCloud settings.
If you create a reusable checklist that you would like to share with someone else, Reminders has options for that, too. You can generate a link to a Template so that anyone using iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS Ventura, or later can add it to their Template collection.
