Did you know there was an online version? Well, there is. I will tell you upfront that it is not the best experience with Apple Reminders, but it can be convenient if you ever have to use a computer other than your own.

Apple Reminders on iCloud.com

To see all of your tasks in a web browser, you must navigate to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID. Once logged in, you can click on the Reminders app to see all the synced tasks from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Accessing Reminders online can be extremely useful if you use Windows because Apple doesn’t make a Reminders app for Windows computers. However, you may want to temper your expectations before you get too excited.

iCloud.com Functionality

Unfortunately, the feature set available to you at iCloud.com is somewhat limited. Some of the most common actions that you take for granted in the iOS or Mac app are just not available when you use Apple Reminders on the web.

For starters, the sync is slow. When you first load the Reminders app, you may panic a little when you find your lists empty. They’re not. Your tasks just take a minute or two to sync.

Then, when you look at what you can do with Reminders on the web, you will see the list is pretty limited. Here is a quick overview of the main functionality:

✅ View existing lists and tasks

✅ Create and delete tasks

✅ Mark a task as completed

✅ Show completed tasks

✅ Edit the name and appearance of a list

Unfortunately, that is about as good as it gets. The list of things you can’t do is much longer than the list of things you can do. I won’t list them all, but here are some examples of features that are not available to you when you use Reminders at iCloud.com.

🚫 You can’t add lists

🚫 You can’t reorder tasks on a list

🚫 You can’t view or create Smart Lists

🚫 You can’t add tags or filter by tags

🚫 You can’t add flags or set priorities

🚫 You can’t move tasks to a different list

🚫 You can’t create or use templates
