A crucial part of any productivity system is the ability to schedule tasks for later and be reminded about them when you need to take action. Here is how Apple Reminders handles adding dates and times to a task.
You can also use natural language to add due dates and times to a task. For example, if you type “Buy milk tomorrow at 8 pm,” you will see a pop-up tooltip that says, “Suggested Time: Tomorrow, 8 pm.” Click that tooltip to add the date and time to the task.

Overdue tasks will appear in red font until you change the due date to a future time or mark the task as complete.
