Adding a task in Apple Reminders is an easy process on purpose. The less friction between you and your to-do list, the more likely you will use it. Here’s how it works.

  1. Click on the list where you want the task to live.
  2. Click the + icon in the top right corner of the app.
  3. Type the text you want to include, e.g. File tax paperwork
  4. Use the Notes field to add additional information if required.
  5. Press Enter on the keyboard to save your task.
