If a list has served its purpose, it’s time to delete it. Thankfully, it’s quick and easy to do.

Delete a List

On a Mac, right-click on a list and select “Delete.” If you accidentally delete the wrong list, Cmd + Z or Edit > Undo can bring it back. However, if you wait several days, there is no trash can to recover it from.

Delete a Group

If you decide that you no longer need a group, you can delete it. Deleting a group won’t automatically delete the lists in the group, but it can if you prefer.

  1. Right-click on the Group and select “Delete”
  2. Choose whether to keep or delete the lists and their reminders
  3. Click “Delete” when you are finished

If you decide to keep the lists when you delete your group, they will revert to their previous positions alongside your other lists.
