Tasks can be organized in several ways to ensure they are in the order needed. Here are some options you should know about.

Reorder Tasks

By default, tasks will appear in the order in which they are created. New ones will always appear at the bottom. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. You can reorder tasks by dragging and dropping them into your desired order.

View Options for Tasks

You can use one of the other sort options to change the default sort order for tasks.

  1. Select the list that you want to work with
  2. Go to View > Sort By
  3. Select to sort by Due Date, Creation Date, Priority, or Title.

Move Tasks Between Lists

Tasks can be moved between lists by dragging and dropping a task onto a list in My Lists.
