Subtasks let you subdivide a task into one or more steps. They are useful for breaking down large tasks into smaller, manageable actions. Subtasks start life as tasks but are easy to convert into subtasks.

You can toggle between showing and hiding subtasks by clicking the up or down arrow to the right of a task with subtasks.
To reverse the process and turn a subtask into a task, select the subtask by clicking on it and use Edit > Outdent Reminder or by pressing Cmd + [ on your keyboard. You can also drag and drop a subtask to a different position on this list or an entirely new list.
